Puffer or fuzzy dwarf in a 5 gallon

Hello, I have a question. I am buying a 5 gallon reef tank and I want to put only 1 fish in it. What do i need to know about these two?

Clown goby hands down would be perfect, you maybe able to squeeze in some other goby, but that’s it, if you have such a small tank and your planning to add coral, focus on coral first

Yeah just softies, I actually have a green clown goby but I was thinking maybe a pistol goby pair?

Neon goby
Trimma goby
Clown goby
Barnacle blenny
Pictus blenny
Firefish

Sixlines are super active, my personal experience is that they will make even a 20 gallon look small as fast as they zoom from side to side. A 5 gallon wouldn't be suitable at all.

True. I was just thinking about them typically being good for a reef and relatively small.

I have had a sixtine in the pass but he would be too big.

Sixlines definitely need more space than 5 gals! Mine is in my 24 gal cube and he is constantly zipping around. I'm glad there are other people who appreciate/respect them.

I agree, neither would work in such a small tank, but there are many other possibilities for your 5 gallon! Gobies are always good choices, and they stay relatively small as well. Blennies, Gobies, maybe some dwarf feather dusters??? Hope I could help!!
