I'm working on my fish list for a 90 gallon tank. Most of the fish that I want are on the easy/beginner lists. But I would like a fish that is different like a pufferfish or a lionfish. Are there any that won't eat my shrimp, coral, or other little peaceful fish?

A lionfish will eat anything that fits in its mouth. Might be a struggle if you plan to keep bite sized fish. There are some smaller lionfish species though. Not sure about the puffer part of the question.

Yeah, I want some damselfish and fairy wrasse so I don't think a lionfish would be good. Hopefully someone will chime in on the pufferfish.

I looked into adding a puffer and it seems like Valentini's have been tried and it's hit or miss with them nipping corals. Won't have any coral issues with a lion, but yes they'll eat any fish that they can.
