Puffer with something on his side

I got home from work last night and noticed my Blue Spotted Puffer with a mark or scrape on his side. Watched him for a while, eating like a pig and acting normal.

Tank mates: 2 small clowns, clown tang, blue tang, and some hermits.

I have a hospital tank, but I think he’ll be hard to catch and don’t want to stress him out unless it’s necessary.

Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you.
