Puffy white growth on Hollywood stunner

Hey all. I’ve had this coral for quite some time now and this puffy white thing is on its surface now. I tried to use a baster to get it off but no luck. Any idea what it is?

Looks like a pineapple sponge but thats an odd place. Try plucking it off...
