I recently came across this product and wondererd if anyone had any experience with it. I understand it must be cured before use.I'm only familiar with live rock

Excellent porous rock, the most bang-for-your-buck IMO. I actually used this in a new set-up and seeded it with a golfball sized piece of LR and have never had an aiptasia/mojano, etc in my tank. The rock also fits together well and makes for a good aquascape. Rinse it well when you get it, there's a lot of dust on it.

There are a lot of threads out there about this rock leaching phosphates. To minimize algae problems people sometimes do an acid dip before curing the rock. Just search for pukani phosphate and you'll get a few good threads.

In my experience pukani is great rock.
