Pukani rock

I have a guy local to me that has about 200 lbs of dry pukani leftover that he bought from brs and never used.
He is going to be listing it for sale soon and I'm interested in picking up a few pieces. He insists that it's hard to get and is worth more than he paid a couple years ago.
What would be a fair price?

Fair will be what you are willing to pay. I probably would not spend more than what it would cost me ship a manufactured rock to me. Yes its hard to find, but its not necessarily better than dry marco rock.
maybe price between marco and caribsea.
Or compare to walt smiths reef rock 2.1.
Maybe $5-$7 a pound.
if it was live rock i might be more intrigued lol.

Any pictures? I picked up about 240 lbs of pukani myself couple of months ago, paid $3 a pound if that helps, very large pieces and very porous, it really depends on how nice it looks and what someone is willing to pay for it, obviously these are left over pieces that they did not want or weren't favorable for the build, so it really depends on how it looks and if it appeals to anyone. Hope this helps, pictures would help as well.

It’s probably hard to find because most people using BRS rock have moved on to reefsaver. Much more natural looking, dense and easier to aquascape. I personally wouldn’t pay more than $3/lb
