I am trying to pull some orange/gold/copper colors out of some of my corals. My LEDs have nothing in the 470 area. Will adding LEDs in the 470 range improve my coral colors? Currently I have 400w radium as my main light source but I have 16 rb, 8 uv (420), and 4 true violet (400). Would the addition of cool blue (470) change the appearance of the corals when the halide is off? Is this the spectrum that excited the orange/gold/copper colors in SPS?

My wd is green and I have a tsa black beards treasure that should glow gold but they are lacking! All my other colors are great. I'm wondering if this is the lacking spectrum.

Based on g4 xr30 pros running ab+ they put as many cool blue LEDs as royal blue and uv and they run them all at 100%.

FWIW, most of the color development in the orange/gold/copper ranged seem to be par-related. I’m running just t5s and noticed one acro developing into a bright green, while two encrusted pieces left over after I separated the frag from the base are turning gold. These are mounted about 4” lower. Just an observation.

So you think lower par will create the gold copper and higher par will lend more towards green?
