Would pulsating Xenia be able to survive and do its thing in my new tank? Tank has been running for a little over a month now.

Hard to say without knowing parameters and stability of your tank. That being said - Pulsing Xenia grows like a weed and is pretty darn hardy.

I’d check some of the threads about out of control PX to also see the other side of the story. Many people curse it for its quick proliferation throughout their tanks.

Provided you have nitrate in the 5-10ppm range and phosphate in the 0.05-.1ppm range at all, times, then yup, Xenia will work.

It does grow fast and can move, so beware

Be sure to seperate it on an island to itself, and watch for any free floating pieces! But yea xenia is up there with GSP for terminator resilience
