so I have had my tank setup for over a year now and have always loved the side by side sway from pulse mode and with the pumps I have now it’s hard to find the right flow to make the corals happy or let me say my happy because I’m picky. So today I decided to order a Jebao sw4 for my 36g bowfront to get the sway. Anyone else show me there tank and thoughts on pulse

I'm not picky about side to side sway in my tank, but I am picky about having very random flow. I have a 40g cube and I have 4 nozzles from the return pump, one big wavemaker and two small wavemakers all working on different settings. So I don't have the back and forth flow like the waves rolling over a shallow reef. But I do have everything on my tank moving which keeps corals pretty happy and the tank pretty clean.

2 sw-2s 1 on either side. not using pulse mode but the offset mode where A is on while B is not for a few seconds, then A is off and Be is on. creates a back and forth swaying motion in the corals. that's in theory though and it actually doesn't sync up perfectly so I get very randomized flow through the the day.

I like it so far however one of mine just crapped itself. it seems the actual pump head is dying as I swapped controllers and the same pump head is not working properly. this is after continual use of at least 8 months. at least they're cheap.

Should I just use the one wavemake on pulse mode or have my other koralia 525 going to
