I thought I'd post this video of my pulsing sinularia I took today. The coral is pretty large and is a fast grower. It looks like it is covered in fur, and moves a lot in the current. When the pumps are all turned off and there is absolutely no current, it pulses as seen in the video.

That's a beautiful coral! Is it peaceful meaning doesn't throw out stingers/sweepers or anything like that? I would like to get one of these.

I've been trying to get my hands on this type of color. You don't frag and ship by any chance?

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think it sends out sweepers. I have it very close to some zoos, a leptoseris, and a toadstool and there seem to be no problems.

Sorry, I'm not really set up for that. It is a beautiful color, similar to a japanese pink nepthea, but maybe not quite as pink. I got it from marine farmers as a small piece, and it grew to be almost the size of my hand.

I just tried searching for this and that place you mentioned comes up first. Almost every other reference is of people asking who's fragging and selling. LOL. I hope I can find someone in Canada who has it. :-)

Not what I was expecting. Years ago there was a guy in the DFW area that was selling pulsing colt coral which I immediately thought of but yours isn't the same. His pulsed like xenia does, which was really cool. He got out of the hobby and I'm not sure any of the pieces he sold are still around.

Ive seen a few variations locally but not quite the color. If I'm going to invest time growing something it needs to jive with it's neighbors and right now that's pinkish ;)
