Pulsing xenia help!!!

I have some pulsing xenia thats just growing out of control everywhere i was wondering what the easiest solution would be to control or get rid of some of it
reduce phosphates and manual removal.
manual removal is a bit of a trick, as im sure you know.

Yeah ive tried manual removal i was wondering if i got a aggressive coral and put it next to the xenia if that would take care of it

a sharp wood chisel ,gfo and a cheap reactor would work better IMO.
not sure how bad it it but i'd try that first. or a syringe with vinegar aiptasia x or kalk paste

Xenia is so pretty, until it smothers everything.
lol. I have three kinds in my 55. some in the sump too. im telling ya. low numbers.
the xenia my coral qt is about to die cuz its undetectable no an po.
ya still gotta watch the ones in the dt, cuz they will drop babies, as soon as they get ready the pop right off in your hand.
imo, the pretty clove polyps are worse, gsp is worse than both. ya cant kill that stuff!

In my experience Xenia seem to thrive on Nitrates. I had it in my tank and it was a constant battle to keep it under control. It slowly disappeared after I added a Bio pellet reactor. As nitrates slowly dropped over a few months it eventually died off. It was stunning to watch but the maintenance to keep it in check was ridiculous.

I can't seem to kill my Xenia also, taking over the tank. Kalk paste does nothing. I have been cutting it off, and sucking it out with a WC.. Going to try the vinegar to see if it works! Thanks

Give me some my frag is shrinking but my other corals are flourishing

Hmm I added gfo and carbon in my brs dual reactor and I have a dual fuge with chaeto and calaupra but before the reactor it was bigger

Bump

I'm having this problem..
Did vinegar work for the OP.
Also, what sort if vinegar are we talking about... How much etc?
Can someone please explain how I do this...

It's becoming frustrating... Its taking over my tank...

Thanks
