Ok, so I bought a peice of frag rock about 2 days ago that has a pretty good size mushroom on it. I bought it cause it was like a two for one deal. It also had like 8 or 9 very very little pulsing xenia on it aswell. My question is where should I put this in my tank and will the xenia grow ok on this rock? The xenia is not pulsing where I have it now. I have it sort between half way up and high. Should I move down or keave it alone. Thanks guys. I know xenias are goofy and will die in some tanks and grow like crazy in others. Thanks.

You say it's not pulsing.....and they are "very little"......It might not be pulsing xenia. I'm thinking you have clove polyps. They have a similar look, a little smaller, but don't pulse.

Oh, bummer. Ok. I will look them up. I will try and post a picture late tonight when I get home from work. Thanks!

This is the xenia/clover. Can anyone tell the difference? It's going on day three. It's not pulsing.
