Hey, if they want to buy this, who am I to decide?
I got this strain from Bellevue in Seattle 25 YEARS ago. Absolutely the oldest animal I have, essentially a few months once I start to keep my reef. Brought me plenty of money.
Picture of this very stain back in 1997, and an expensive Red Sea Maxima in 1997ish.

I know most people find it a nuisance, but I love xenia. It's very soothing to watch. I have a rock covered in it - and I just remove any babies it drops before they attach anywhere.
I agree. Really nice coral to watch in the flow, same with the GSP. I don't see why people hate them so much. Its not hard. Just remove the extra bits and sell it. If you put it next to an aggressive coral, it doesn't grow over anything. My friend has one on a rock and it hasn't overgrown anything because he has Duncans and zoas around it so it never tries to overgrow the spot its in. Love Xenias!

It's a love hate relationship. I loved it but now hate it. Overtook my refugium and spread to sump and display tank. I'm going to take the refugium offline and run it seperate. This is the 40g refugium. Takes up a 24" x 18" area plus back wall and anywhere else it can spread.
