I cant seem to find this or if it even exists

1/2 push connector to a 5/8 barb

Ive found 1/2 barb - 5/8 barb, the 1/2 push is a hard tube though.

Thank you

I think you're going to want to do this first:

John Guest 1/2" to 1/2" female adapter.
https://www.freshwatersystems.com/p-2516-john-guest-female-adapter-uns-12-x-12x16-uns.aspx

And get a 1/2" male to 5/8" barb adapter like this:

Or this:

Whoops...there's a 1/2" pushfit to 1/2" male adapter that would go with that middle fitting.

Either combo.

awsome thank you for the quick reply, I hate when amazon only has 10 packs ><

Buy locally if you can....HD and Lowes actually have a decent selection of these parts if you have a decent size store in your area. You may have other options too.

Barring that, I've had good experiences ordering from freshwatersystems so far. No 10 packs required, but they still offer them. :)

unfortunately I bought from the site - the barb I got though was not the right size, heres a pic -

are the sizes different for the nylon barbs?

Hm...are there any markings on the part itself to assure it's the unit they think they shipped?

Also, how is it wrong? Almost looks like the barb might be 1/2" and the threads 5/8"......backwards. But is that just the photo?

Thats what I was thinking, No there is no indicators on the barb for the size. and well I needed to thread the barb into the push connect.

I was at homedepot and they did not have a big or any of the nylon barb connectors. I thought maybe the measurement is the circumference or I have no clue

Ya, I think you gotta call em or get them on live chat tomorrow and let them know it's the wrong part. PITA

Is there a ACE hardware by you? The ACE store are the closes thing to having what you are looking for locally.

Hm I went to ace and they didnt have what i needed, I need a 1/2 thread to 1/2 barb for the push connector, am I crazy? b/c I cannot find it anywhere! or is the ID a different size?

Not crazy....I've always had a problem finding barbs. Seems like Lowes always has a better selection than HD, but that may just be the size of that particular Lowes (big!).

Did you have any luck chatting with the original vendor?

 I'm surprised you don't already have a replacement on the way or in hand!

They've got an 800# that's open 12hrs a day:
