So I have an ecotech vectra m1 on my 140 gallon. Had it dialed back to 66%. Just added a GFO reactor yesterday so upped the pump a little. Now its making a small whirlpool in the sump and pulling in a small amount of air via the whirlpool. Sump level is exactly where it's supposed to be. I have nothing on the vectra on the intake, just wide open.

Try putting something over top of it so it can suck in air.

Not sure what u mean

I meant cant not can lol. Put a peiece of plastic where it sucks in air to stop it from sucking in air. Your going to have to redneck this one :D

Not sure about your sump design, but any chance you can raise the level of the sumps return section?
