Hello, all!

I have a RSR 250 and I am relatively new to the hobby so a lot of learning on the go, so to speak. I have been troubleshooting my sump pump and gate valve for tuning and have been able to get it about right (usually have to make minor adjustments each week for water levels creeping). I have now noticed that my salinity has dropped to ~1.022-1.023 and my concern is that my ATO (RSR’s stock ATO) is diluting my water over time.

Is it possible that my water level in my pump chamber is too low and this would lead to excessive top off? I do feel like I have been having to replace A LOT of RODI in my ATO chamber but I just assumed it was the bigger tank (recently upgraded from a 28g).

Thank you in advance for any help!

J

Bumping your post for you!
Thanks, Gumbies!

I actually figured out that my salinity was fine it was my friends refractometer that was incorrectly calibrated and was showing low numbers.
