I have a vectra S1 return pump and its decided to quit on me at the WORST TIME. I have been having issues with it over the past few weeks and have called ecotech for support multiple times with no response. Sometimes it cuts out randomly and flashes red and orange, but now its doing something new. It flashes purple/red and there is nothing I can do to get it up and running. This is a big problem for me because I do not have the time this weekend to rewire and plumb a completely new pump in. What do I do? Any responses help, I'm kind of freaking out.

I would think you could pick up an emergency pump (fountain pump for example) at any hardware or pet store. Grab several feet of silicone hose and route over the top with a clamp for emergency. If you want to go extra mile grab a barbed valve for adjusting.

Good luck!
