Pump for salt mixing station

I’m setting up a 55 gal salt mixing station. I have an extra fluval 14337 sump pump on hand and I was wondering if this would work as an external pump to mix transport water from on barrel to the other as well as mix the salt. It won’t be used to pump NSW to my sump as I will be using apex dose for water changes. Thanks for help.

I have not used this pump personally but based on the description it seems like it can be used as an internal or external pump and at 1822 GPH it should be more than powerful enough to meet your needs.

Should work just fine. Anything that has enough drive to overcome the relatively low head pressure involved in a mixing station and can be externally plumbed should usually work - and this on has that. The manufacturer states 1822 GPH, but that would likely be with no back-pressure so you'll get less than that when mixing. Still; I'm sure it'll do the trick.
