OK, so I am looking to streamline my water changes, and am interested in getting a submersible pump that I can put in my saltwater mixing barrel, to use to pump new water to my tank. I have a Python that makes it easy to take water out, but I'd like to take buckets out of the equation.

I'm looking at about 50 feet of hose from my saltwater barrel to my sump, approximately 5 feet of which will be traveling vertically up. There are about 4 curves, but since this will be hose, there will be no 90 degree angles.

I'm looking for pump suggestions... I don't care about noise level since this will be in my garage and not on much... any advise or suggestions?

Yes! This helped take my water changes from a half hour to 10 minutes... I had used the pump every time, but had to set the line up. Permanently plumbing in the pump was well worth it!

I use a Mag5, they are affordable and reliable.
