Pump help for 48” 100g tank. Recommendations?

New tank I’m building is 48x24x20h 100g IM INT tank. The whole back wall is a c2c acrylic wall so I can’t use a Vortech on it since behind the wall is water. Planning on using an mp40 on one side and wanted to keep the other side clean for viewing purposes. Can anyone recommend another pump I can put on the back wall that would complement the mp40. I want to try and eliminate dead spots. I was thinking one of the gyre type bars vertically. If it plays nice with apex would be a plus.

upon further research looks like the VDM module is needed for control of some maxspect pumps, is this module needed for the newest apex or do the ports on the "brain" cover what the vdm did on older models
