pump nozzle choice

My pump came with a bunch of nozzles. These were the two largest od. Which one do I use? they both are 3/4 od and I ran 1 inch pipe on the return. I think one is for hard plumbing and the other for hose? The barbed fitting has a weird airline to it. Not sure what that's for. Thanks for the advice.

It would prob help if you stated which pump you have.

If you're lucky enought for it to be 3/4 inch, simple pick up a reducing coupling to step it up to 1 inch.

If it's a foreign pump....truly foreign, there is a chance it's not 3/4 inch.

Sorry to revive this. It is a triton 4. I went with the barbed fitting. Is there anything special with that tube that's hanging off? I left it outside of my sump and it sprayed water everywhere. The pump won't start up after it's cut off unless I jiggle it. I assume it's air locked which makes me think I have to do something special with the hose thingy.
