Pump pressure

I have had my tank running for over 4 years and thankfully I have not needed to replace a water pump. The pump used to circulate from the refug to the display tank has noticeably lost some of its pressure. I'm wondering if there are kits to improve the flow, or is it best to just buy a new one. Has anyone rebuilt a pump? If so, how difficult is it to do? I'm pretty handy around the house so I'm not a newbie to mechanics.

The pump is a Pan World NH100.

Soak the wet end components is some distilled white vinegar, it will probably improve the efficiency a lot.
Unless you have scoured the insides out with sand or starved the suction side and ate it up by cavitation there should not be anything wrong with the pump a good cleaning wouldn't take care of.
You might also run a Fluval cleaning brush through all your plumbing, I was amazed how much crud I get out of my PVC and vinyl tubing during an annual cleaning. I bought the Fluval brush kit, tied some fishing line to it and run it through the pipes at least once a year now and flows seem to pick up tremendously.

Reef Culture is the most modern facility I have ever seen and has fantastic stuff.

AquaTouch is an established LFS with a very good selection and well known staff.

I also shop for drygoods and other stuff at Tropical Treasures which is 1/4 mile from my house.
