the depends on your overflow box.

For a return pump, I like to recommend shooting for about 5x display tank volume after head loss. Depending on set up, Eheim 1260/or 1262 would be "ol' reliable" for a submersible pump. Lots of options, however.

For flow in the display, I always recommend at least 2 powerheads/wavemakers. I would start with around 20-30x 75 gph. Lots and lots of options there too.

I like AC pumps for their reliability. My choice would be an Eheim 1262 or Fluval SP2. Both can be run externally to minimize heat input. Could also go with an Iwaki 20 RLXT or Pan World Equivalent (40 PXX I think) for external
