Hey! I want to pump water up 2 floors from my basement to my tank (75 gallon). This would be a temporary installation, only brought out and used for water changes. I'm thinking I'd run some flexible tubing up my back stairs from a pump in my 30 gallon Brute reservoir. Any recommendations on a suitable pump? Am I crazy? Anyone else doing this?

How about peristaltic pumps? Are they available with higher flow rates than what BRS has available?

Faster and more head do not usually work with Peri pumps.

If you don't want to get another brute and pump one story at a time, then you are looking at Iwaki 100rlt and that is about it. If you go one story at a time, then a Mag 24 or 26 should work and you can reuse them for water changes later.

Not crazy. Why not run your RODI outlet up stairs. Put a valve on it at both ends. Mix in a 5 gallon bucket. It'll pump it up there. The 1/4" line is cheap. Rolls up stores in your mixing bucket.

Unfortunately, I've no space for a RODI outlet and reservoir upstairs. And my RODI flow rate is way too slow to make that practical. But good idea!

The Iwaki looks like a suitable option, 39 ft head height from your suggested Iwaki MD-100RLT. Just the painful price to swallow.

How about this?
UX-75421-00, SHURFlo Low-Flow Positive Displacement Flexible Impeller Pump, 120 VAC
40 ft of head = 62 GPH
~$190...though the price of the larger models skyrocket to >$1000!!!
