Pump size for ultraviolet light

I have a 8watt ultraviolet light . A 46gal tank. What size pump should I get for enough flow not to strip away everything?

I would check with the manufacturer they should have a flow recommendation for your UV system.. lower flow is better than high in my opinion.

Every UV will have a recommended flow range. Slower for parasites; faster for clarification.
