How many gph should I have on a 75 reef?

I would go with a minimum of 800 GPH, if it was my build I would go with a 1000 GPH.

If you are talking through your sump, about 3-8 times is good enough or 200-600 GPH. You get water movement in your tank with power heads. For that you want 10 - 40 times your tank volume depending on the corals you have.
