My return pump stopped and I need a new one but for now I have a power head in the water but I am not there my parents are divorced and im 15 and at my dads this week but my mom plugged a powerhead in but I forgot to tell her to plug in a heater and I can't to that until I get there after school and my moms at work will they be fine until then and what do I do? What pump should I get? I have a 110 gallon tank and the one I had was 1200 gph and it needs 3/4" intake and output... which pump.... sorry if I said something wrong I'm in school... please help!!!

Your temperature will drop some but water movement is the most important thing at this point. Do you have a LFS that can help you out? If you order online I would try to rig up the heater in the main tank for the time being.

Soak the pump in vinegar and some rodi water after taking apart the pump. My pump went out recently as well I let the pump soak for 24 hours and just moved my heater from the sump to display. I rearranged the power head to provide more surface tension. After soaking the return pump it worked.

+1. Also always a good idea to have a backup pump and heater in case of a true failure.

Agree with @Xmoji ......before you toss your current pump, clean it. This is especially true if you've never cleaned it before. Take it apart and clean all the goop out of it.
