Pump/temp question

Although that big of a difference is a problem. I do not mind a five degree temperature change from night to day. And has never seemed to bother my livestock. Not that I know for sure. But I believe it is healthy just in case things are not perfect all the time. They will be much more used to fluctuation. Plus I believe that they experience pretty good swings in the wild as well. Especially those in tidal pools.
 
Fish in the ocean have the ability (for the most part) to swim to warmer or cooler waters. our fish can't. tide pools are different in that only certain species of fish and inverts live in them. temp swings aren't always a big issue but I wouldn't risk it since we keep livestock from all different areas of the world.
