I'm running the Jecod DCO-6500 in a redsea 525 and funding no matter what I do the pump is taking to much water out of the sump to a point bubbles appear through the return pipe, this particular pump was working perfect in my redsea 425 on the minimum settings, I've taken the bubble sponge out and lowered the baffle plate but it's worse to a point its filling the tank higher, I I can't seem to lower the power below 30 watts and there seems to no way to reduce the flow, I'm stumped on this one

Yes, and closed to to just below overflow

Did you open up the gate valve all the way first?
I've just opened the valve ½turn which as stopped it but the water as gone down lower on the overflow pipe, which I can live otherwise when the ATO starts I'll over fill to a point of a flood I think

To have it balanced you want the water in the overflow just below the lip of the emergency overflow pipe.

That's where I had it but the pump is pulling in air as the waters to low

OK I've started from scratch, put 10lt of water in to get everything as it should be,
Started turning the control valve until the water is a few mill from the overflow, but the pump as taken the added water and put it in the tank, by doing this my ato is now 6" below the sensor,as I add water the pump puts it straight into the tank, this is so stupid, my other tank works perfect with red sea pumps
Anybody with any ideas
