I've noticed today that my Rhodactis has pumpkin flatworms on it (I counted about 4) and I immediately knew it came from a plating monti I added a couple weeks ago because i remember seeing them on the underside and didn't think they would be flatworms. I'm assuming my 6 line is eating them because i can't seem to find them anywhere else in the tank besides on those 2 coral.

I'm looking for the communities input on whether I should get some flatworm meds or just leave it be and keep an eye on it for now. I tried manual removal but the Rhodactis closes up immediately.

Thanks

IMHO, since you have a wrasse that seems to be helping, I'd just do my best at manual removal and keep a close eye on the entire tank.

BTW, i used a small 1/4" pipe and a long hose to manually remove flat worms. The pipe was long enough to make reaching to the bottom of the tank fairly easy. The hose was long enough to reach to the sump where I put an extra filter sock so the water I siphoned out while going after the flat worms would be cleaned and go directly back into the system. Yes, my recordea closed up, but the suction of the siphon and the small size of the pipe allowed me to work them over an get all the flat worms I could see.

Good luck.
