Pumps and/or flow for a 54g corner tank

Hey guys. New to the forum but not new to reef tanks. I just set up a 54g corner tank and wanted some opinions on circulation pumps for this oddly shaped tank. I kinda like the Maxspect Gyre or similar pumps but I'm concerned that the pump pushing forward into curved glass might make it to turbulent. Or that might even be a good thing as long as it isnt to much. Anyone out there with a corner tank if you could also chime in on what you use for circulation pumps that would be much appreciated. The corner tanks are a bit odd to dial in the flow. I have not set up one in forever. There are lots of folks who have though so hopefully they will stop by.
