I am in the middle of my build to switch from a waterbox 130.4 to a IM 200 Int peninsula. I had my mind set on using 2 tunze 3 stream pumps. I realized that they needed the 3/4 " magnets , and bought 2 during black Friday as there were zero stream 3+ available. I figured the magnets would be readily available. Now I'm ready to wrap things up and tunze usa only has one set and the other won't be available until April. Nobody has these things and they are absurdly expensive.
Anybody have any suggestions or better pump ideas for a 6 foot peninsula? I could sell these and buy stream 3+ now that people have them but would loose a good amount of money.
Thought about getting tunze rock and mounting to another rock so it would be horizontal.

Could go with gyres but not sure how it would be with 30" wide and 6ft long. Was hoping only to have pumps at one end.

Thanks

Get the one. By the time that you need the second set and second pump, April will be gone and past.
I have both pumps. Need both so I can keep from putting something on other end. 1 does me no good.

You need two pumps on a new tank between now and April when the magnets will be available? I have no doubt that you need 2 pumps eventually.

If you actually need a second pump and are anywhere near me in Colorado, come by and borrow a 6105 for a few weeks.

I have the ext200 peninsula and use the standard stream3 on mine without any issue. The magnets are plenty strong for the 3/4 glass.

I have 2 pumps. Yes I need 2 pumps and probably a few more. Sps dominant 6 foot tank. It should be up and running early next month so April won't work. I just need the magnets.

Tank is a transfer, not a new tank.

Ahh, the plight of the peninsula tank.

If your in a pinch and have an apex, I’ve got a couple WAVs I’m not currently using that you could borrow. I’m in Thornton; I’m not sure what part of CO your in.

I appreciate but have a lot of pumps. Currently have 2 gyre xf350s , 2 tunze stream 3s, a red sea 45, and 2 nano 5s. Just not sure what's best. Leaning towards using the 2 gyres and dealing with seeing one. Not sure what to do with cord on eurobrace on far end.

Have you seen this guy's video? He mounts his stream3 pumps to the euro brace with a homemade stand-off mount. Kind of a neat idea.

Following along hoping this works for you. I've decided to try 2 Stream 3 and some 6095s on my new 72*36 peninsula
