Punkrocker? Parrot head? Something else?

What in the world are these? Iv heard them called parrot heads, punk rockers, everything under the sun.
I picked them up at a LFS because i thought they were beautiful. That teal around the yellow center was just stunning to me. People ask about them all the time and i have nothing to tell them except "uhhh welll i just liked them and they are rather nice."
