I've had this guy about 4 months now and it's still got its color but has shrunk to a 5th of its original size. I've put him in a few different areas for weeks at a time, except for in complete shade, and always the same. All parameters are perfect was a tad light on magnesium but it's up to 1300+ by hannah egg. Any ideas on getting this dude happy?

I had the exact same thing happen to my florida ricordea. It just wouldn't be happy anywhere and it eventually wasted away into nothing.

Meanwhile I have a yuma that is happy and spreading wide. I couldn't figure it out either, but fingers crossed someone has an answer for you.

I've switched lights recently to a much stronger setup. I've got a cave area that's shady. I'm gonna try that next. Have some zoas doing well there presently on a plug.
