Reefs and electronic fun!

I still haven't set up a used D.A. Reefkeeper I purchased used for my 90 gallon reef system. Wow, didn't know Puratek created a controller for reefs as well. Maybe I'll wait and check their's out first! I have a nice Puratek R/O system already and love it. Makes a lot of pure water without much waste involved for our septic system. Wish I had a water leveler like this to complete the system. Hint. Hint. Will do more research now in to Puratek aquarium products. Here's a view from the end of our 90 gallon reef.

Impressive set of features on the controller. Flow meters, stray voltage sensor, leak detector... built in the USA and upgradeable too. The Web interface looks slick as well.

Awesome piece of equipment!

As a relative amateur to the hobby, and looking at all of the equipment that is out there to help maintain a reef setup, it's awesome that a single piece can coordinate and control so much, so easily. It would make the hobby that much more enjoyable to have a control center that takes away worry.

The fact that the sensors do not come in contact with the water is a definite plus, less maintenance, and should last longer before replacement might be needed. I also like that the firmware can be upgraded, and is fully programmable to meet your specific needs. Feedback options of the unit are great. Standby mode is a nice feature. Easy to read, another plus. Seems like this unit provides everything I would need and want in an auto level controller. Puratek's product line looks well thought-out, with the aquarium enthusiast in mind. "Simplicity in aquarium technology" is definitely for me. And it's made in the USA...yes!
