PURATEK DELUXE 100 GPD RO/DI FILTER SYSTEM- AQUAMAXX

is there anyone who is using this system for the long term? I can’t hardly find any reviews on this thing, I just got 2 of them from marine depots liquidation sale I couldn’t pass up the deal. if there’s somebody out there using it for the long term how’s it working for you? what filters do you use? how long does it last before you have to change filters, I know that’s relevant to water quality and usage but I would love to hear some info on it.
thank you in advance

I can’t answer the specific question, but I can bump the thread to see if we can get you some help

I got the Puratek from Aquacave 3 years ago. Exactly the same unit from MD. I make on average about 50 gallons almost every weekend and this thing dose not miss a beat. The 1-1 ratio is very close . I my self have only had to change the membrane only one time the others a bit more. I just got back an ICP from ATI which test the Ro water and every thing is perfect.

Been using it for about year and a half. No issues. Went to filters from Amazon and bought DI in bulk with a refillable canister. Do 100 gals every couple weeks. I’m on a well with a whole house filter but still on all original filters. Best bang for the buck with TDS meter, pressure pump and auto backwash.

Yeah, Dana gave it a good review and the mechanics of a RODI system are all pretty similar. The fact that it also had all the bells and whistles and was still reasonably priced, sold me. Glad I went with it. No regrets.
