Pure reef balance

Hi does anybody know if I should be using pure reef balance bacteria balls every so often in my tank and is it a good idea some got put in in April when my tank got set up and just done some more or is it a bad idea to use them thank you

I've never heard of them but from what I've found online I would add them to my list of snake oil. I would think you would be better off with some type of liquid bacteria like microbacter7 or similar.
