I use ESV B-Ionic MG as well as ESV B-Ionic 2 part for Ca and Alk. It was easy this way as I could stick with the same brand. I honestly don't know anything about other brands for dosing other then what I use so of course I'm going to recommend what I use. With that said I'm sure plenty will respond with other options that will work just as well. Remember get my I'm small amounts as you'll hardly use it. Once your mg is set it depletes very slowly my last gallon jug for my 240 lasted almost 2 years.

Anyone use Fluval Sea Magnesium?

So I added 30ml today and did a quick salifert test. I'm at 1290- 1320. How's that? Should I add a bit more?
