Anyone ever run Purigen in place of carbon in a reactor? Got a small package for my nano and was extremely impressed, looking into larger scale applications now for my 75

Purigen works great but in a reactor can be tough since the media seems to slip through the tiniest of holes in mesh/filter pads,foam,etc... It can be a pain to clean up if gets out of the reactor.
That should work as long as its a super fine media bag. Like the little 100ml of purigen pouches. Most media bags I've tried the purigen still slips through. Best of Luck!I was thinking of placing a media bag full of it in the reactor to keep it in place. I had noticed how fine the granulates were and I was kinda concerned.
Just thought I ask since you mentioned "in place of carbon". Are you planning to use it to lower nitrates, or chemical filtration? Purigen and Carbon have different purposes if I recall correctly.
Really it will be for water polishing
