So my tank has been up for a year now and I have frags with purple algea covering the discs that have been I. he tank for months and yet there is none of it spreading g onto the live rock any tricks to get it to spread
Thankx

Turn off your pumps and use a knife or a razor blade to scrape it off in water. Wait about 15 minutes with the pumps off and then turn them back on. You can repeat that as often as you like, as long as you're not stressing any corals out in the process.
