Reefers! ;)

What's your style? Letting that lovely coralline algae take over the back wall?

Pictures please!

I scrape everything off the back wall.....I personally don't like the look of coralline on anything but rock. On top of that it absorbs a ton of the things that I am dosing on a daily basis.

If you don't want to clean your back wall, and who does, and you want it to be alive, then mount some GSP, monti, clavularia, zoas to it. They don't need to be big named pieces, just different colors and textures. This will give your tank a huge depth of field to it.

My 750g 10x4x2.5 has rock glued on the back wall, with corals mounted all over the rock. Granted the depth of view in a 4' tank is impressive, but having all the colors and corals growing up and off the back wall really enhances to the depth of the field.

I don’t care what my back wall is covered in as long as the tank looks natural!
The back of my 4’ can be seen here. It’s covered in algae but the main part looks natural so I don’t really care :)
