Picked up what I was told was a purple bonsai last week. Everything I read says they require high light and flow. It’s under LED’s on my frag rack for acclimation which sees about 120-140 PAR. I typically leave new corals there for a week before putting them under full light. My question is, it seems to be bleaching/fading. When I got it, it already had that strange half bleached look with a border. Should I move it to less light?

Ime that coral likes mid to low light , at least in sps terms, To keep that deep base color.

Go with acclimation as you are doing and increase gradually after 2 weeks
