I've had my pbg for about three months...every day fuzzy with polyps in my 10 fusion...had a salinity problem the other day...corrected asap...most everything else is back to normal...the gorgonia still looks good, in good currant and light...but no polyps...it had been totally fuzzy...will patience do it or am I missing something or is it a gradual gonner...appreciate:confused: advice...

Do you have any pics of the gorgi. Also check to see if it has a coating over it if you will give it a good shake in the water should see some film coming off of it. I have to do this to mine about once a month. That and about every 6 months I have to move it around in the tank till it finds a happy place again.

First time uploading...hope I sent the right one...the arrangement has changed since this was taken...

This should be it...yup...it was only a month or so in then...always has been fuzzed out...I'll try moving it, but very little room to do that in a 10...

I would just be patient and keep an eye on it. Mine has "retracted" several times over the couple years I've had it and it always comes back. To @cowboy's point though, make sure it's not covered with anything - algae/cyano/whatever. They need a decent amount of flow to help keep them free of attaching algae.

Try cleaning it off and be patient once you have a routine with them they can be fairly hardy. Ive had mine going on 5 yrs now and it has its moments i usualy dont get nervous unless it starts to show tissue loss. Also try to target feed it the first day it my not show any PE but should start within a few days.
