Purple cover on sandbend

Hi,

I am new into the marine reef aquariums.
In general I try to keep stable the conditions in the aquarium and fish seems to be happy for a while. Have not changed anything in the last 2 months and yesterday out of the blue this purple carpet appeared.. should I worry?

This purple circle is not a lighting artifact

Need to see the true color under white light

That's not too out if control. Do a water change and siphon it off the sand. Keep up with bi-weekly water changes/siphoning the sand during maintenance. Do you know your nutrients?

That looks like Cyano. Typically comes from high Phosphates.
