Purple Death color

Not sure what you mean - "It's not hard to identify. Zoas morph colors all the time." Since I'm new to zoa collecting and identification, these statement seems contradictory.

Gotcha! The ability of the experienced eye (connected to the experienced brain) to make complex differentiations instantly is far beyond our ability to explain the differentiation in words.

My PDs were brown for a long time. Everytime i saw pics of other ppl's I was jealous. Mine just never looked like more than brown palys. I had them placed on the sandbed in my 75gal, my light is a 6-54w TEK T5 fixture.

Then i decided to clean up my sandbed a bit, put the frags on a frag rack about half way up the tank and BAM they colored right up and rival everyone elses. They have such an intense deep purple is really is beautiful.
