Purple Death Palys

When I got my 1st polyp shipped to me, I really didn't think it was gonna make it. Stayed folded in half for over a month.

Then it finally opened.

Today, I finally got a 1/2 way decent pic of my purple death colony.

They are way deeper purple than in this pic.

I have no idea. I heard they don't take to fragging well but both the frags I've given out are doing great. One was juat about a month ago & it already has a baby on it.

I never had a problem with fragging PD's they are still high because you don't see much of them at LFS's just hobbist. But the price is getting cheaper. I see people selling them for like $20-25 a polyp now instead of $50 a polyp

Nucear greens grow a little slower than PD's and are nicer looking IMO. My purple deaths also took off and out grew my NG's twice as fast.

Nice picture of the colony BTW. Good Coloration.

I also think the Nuclear Greens are much nicer looking. But mine are growing pretty fast.

Awesome! It only took a few months to grow them from the single? I had a colony of green death and they melted. All of my other zoos are growing lke mad!
