I have a 30g biocube with a mandaren dragonet, 2 clownfish, and a purple fire fish and red fire fish. I have had the clownfish and dragonet for little over a year and decided to add the fire fish just 2 weeks ago. I am beginning to notice rips on the red fire fish fins and the purple firefish showing dominince and overpowering the red firefish. I feel bad because the poor red one isen't eating and I dont know what to do ;( help?

Catch whichever you don't want and try to get a LFS credit. Or the red guy is going to die.

Stressed firefish will starve themselves also so even if the purple lets up he may refuse to eat. In a 30 gallon two firefish unless added at he same time will likely fight since territory is already established by one of them.

You can try moving the rocks around, but I think you will have limited long term success with doing this.

Firefish will fight to the death unless they are a male/female pair. The red one IS going to die if you leave both of them in there. Make a fish trap to catch him, or take the rocks out and catch him that way.
