Is my Yuma dying? The first picture is what it usually looks like, but the second is what it has looked like for the past couple of days.

It's definitely not happy, anything weird going on with your parameters? Is it in a high flow area?

Thank you for the response. Parameters are below.

Calcium- 450 ppm
Alkalinity- 10.1 dkH
Magnesium- 1600 ppm (using red Sea test kit)
Phosphate- 0 ppm
Nitrate- .05 ppm
Nitrite- 0 ppm
Ammonia- .1 ppm
PH- 8.0
Salinity- 1.025

I noticed that my alkalinity jumped up quite a bit over the past couple of days. It is usually around 8 dkh. The flow isn't too high where it's at.

It is off that you're registering ammonia, I would see if your test kit has expired.

Alkalinity swings can irritate yumas, ricordias in general are a bit more finicky among other mushrooms. I would try to get things sorted out with your parameter swings first. Your mag might also be a bit high for shrooms.

Flow should be minimal, so if the mushroom is flapping some, it may be too much.

I would also try feeding it something, mushrooms are basically simple anemones and they do benefit more from feeding than most other corals.

I thought the same about the ammonia. In the past I have been spot feeding the Yuma mysis shrimp since that is what I feed my fish. I will definitely work on my parameters. Thank you!

Did you change your lighting? Top pic is my Yuma doing great. Bottom is after I just moved the rock. They seem to be very funnily about their light.

I have not. Although I did just order a Hydra 26, so I will be changing the light in a few days. I plan on using the acclimation mode and slowly increase the intensity over a few weeks. As of now, the Yuma is looking much better than it was in the picture I posted earlier.
