Purple Helix Coralline Algae In a Bottle

I've got a lot of purple coralline in my tank and it did not start out green.

All of the dry rock I added to my tank turned green just like your and then turned purple. Should start seeing purple within the next month

Coraline takes time to grow and turn purple

Well mine just exploded with Coralline it’s been just under two months since I added the pink and purple bottles.

All my rock was given a acid bath and only Arc Reef algae was added. Pretty much all the purple showed up overnight. I have been supplementing with purple up, Kalk and reef complete.

I would love to know the same. All reviews I have seen seem so 50/50. I can't tell if it's people putting it in systems that can't support calcareous algae yet or if some of the bottles are just dead from too much time elapsed/temperatures hitting bad ranges/etc in shipping.

Would love to hear from people with established systems who had purple already in the system and then added pink and pink showed up.

My buddy did this about 4 months ago to his system. He never had coraline. His rock has been basically white-ish from the beginning. His tank was about a year old. After adding one of each hes starting to get pink and purple spots all over the rocks
