purple hornet zoa qustion

So i got a frag of purple hornet zoas and they dont look as colorful as in fish store? they have leds and i have leds. i heard it could be the placment of them? is this true?

do you have a picture of them in there tank. any type of picture will help. Make sure there not blue makaws either. they sorta look the same. But not the same price.

It should color up over time, may have been damaged somehow during fragging, transport or other form of stress. Also, pics always help.

I have seen the same frag look blue or purple under different lights. LEDs produce very specific colors..you will notice a ton of variance from brand to brand.. Keep an eye on them, as long as they keep opening you should be just fine. Coral colors morph slightly under different spectrums. I always stArt new frags in my sand bed just incase my lights are too strong.
